Graduation Paths and Requirements

Click here for more information on the new graduation requirements for incoming freshmen.

All students will pursue a focused program of study preparing them for postsecondary study in either university or technical training. While all students may not enter postsecondary training immediately following high school, they must be prepared for life-long learning. The paths will be flexible so a student can change from one path to the other. Students in both paths will acquire essential skills and knowledge. Students entering the ninth grade in 2001-2002 or after must successfully complete the Gateway examinations. Beginning with the freshman class of 2003-2004, graduating class of 2007, the valedictorian and salutatorian shall take a minimum of ten (10) honors or above honors level courses throughout the four years of high school.
